Management and technology consulting firm Accenture has named Elizabeth Boright as its Alberta managing director.
In the role, Boright will lead the firm’s business in Calgary, Edmonton and the rest of the province. She will focus on “bringing innovation to clients, attracting top talent and strengthening Accenture’s impact,” according to a release from the firm.
Boright will continue to be based in Calgary, and continues in her role as a managing director in the technology practice, where she serves clients in energy, utilities, retail, and public services. During her more than two decades at Accenture, Boright has led numerous business transformation programs in a range of industries. She has also held roles in client leadership, delivery, and sales.
For the last five years, Boright has also been the executive sponsor of Accenture’s Life @ Calgary program, which runs events and learning opportunities to improve the employee experience at the office. She holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from McMaster University.
“Elizabeth is a proven business leader with a wealth of experience in solving complex problems, leading transformation and building a strong sense of community,” Jeffrey Russell, president of Accenture in Canada, said. “With her track record, I’m confident in Elizabeth’s ability to drive innovation and growth while attracting top talent in the local Calgary market.”
Aside from its two Alberta offices in Calgary and Edmonton, Accenture has eight further locations across the country. The Ireland-headquartered firm – which provides a full suite of offerings in strategy, consulting, digital, technology and operations – has 5,122 employees in Canada.
