Stanbic Bank Launches Campaign to Promote Its Digital Banking Platform

Stanbic Bank Ghana Limited in an effort to promote the bank’s cashless transactions has launched a new campaign dubbed “Visa Swipe to DigitaAFCON Campaign” .This will reward five loyal customers who patronize their digital services, together with their partners and a ward with tickets to watch some games of the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON). The campaign will run till June, when the 2019 AFCON commences.

Speaking at the launch of campaign, Emmanuel Kojo Sampson, the Manager in charge of Card and Payment at Stanbic Bank revealed that to be part of the promotion, customers had to obtain goods and services with their Stanbic Visa and credit cards via the POS or online platforms. He added that they would have to use their Stanbic Visa and credit cards at least 14 times in a month to stand a chance of winning one of the five available slots.

“Basically what we are saying is that every month we will reward five customers who have done the most number of transactions using their Stanbic debit card. At the end of the three month campaign period we will also pick twenty customers who have done the highest number of transactions. We’ll put those twenty customers in a draw and pick lucky five customers out of the number. ”

The promotion will grant four of the winners the chance to watch the matches with their partners while one winner will get the opportunity to watch the game with his or her child.

The Executive Head of Personal and Business Banking at Stanbic Bank Ghana, Nana Benneh, in his statement mentioned that the bank had continuously come up with products customized for Ghanaians, and added that the Stanbic Visa card would open customers up to a new digital banking experience.

“This is one of the demonstrations of Stanbic Bank when we say Africa is our home. We are really pleased to be associated with this and with our partners Visa. We have always brought you product and services to meet the various needs in Ghana and beyond. But today in partnership with Visa we bring you something slightly different. We bring you a card that is the gateway to other forms of payment and gives you access to a whole new world of digital banking”.

“We hope that through this campaign we will encourage most of our cherished customers and potential customers to get used to doing banking through their cards from the comfort of their homes, cell phones, their laptops and other forms of mobile devices,” he said.
