Ghana: Propak Ghana to draw over 100 brands to exhibition center

Propak Ghana has received endorsement from the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA), the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), and other organizations as Accra’s premier packaging, printing, plastics, and food processing portfolio show.

The ‘Propak Ghana’ exhibition is slated to take place in the Grand Arena, ICC, from June 6–8, 2023, and is anticipated to draw more than 100 brands and 2,500 people.

Marketing Director of Afrocet Montgomery, Jamie Pearson,  added how the Association of Ghana Industries has fully endorsed the event. 

“The Ghana Export Pro­motion Authority (GEPA) has also endorsed the event and is supporting trade delegations from across the wider West African region that will see a comprehen­sive buyers-programme for those in the F&B and FMCG industries who are in need of an upgrade or new technology in their supply chains and factories.” 

Regarding the upcoming exhibition, she mentioned that it would be accompanied with industry-leading conference programming that would offer insights, explanations, and opinions on the trends and pressing issues the sector was facing.

“Apart from the exhibition, we will have sessions on the circu­lar economy, sustainability, and financing options for SME and multinational companies, among others. 

In total, more than 40 speakers are expected, and the full three-day programme will be announced in the coming weeks. 

Local companies, including Jaykay Group, Docutech, Kane-Em Industries, ePac Flexible Packaging, Finepack, and Sai Commodities, among others, are expected to take part in the event and also some countries that are expected to participate in the exhibition include, Togo, Benin, Cote d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, and Senegal. 

International businesses wishing to enter the Ghanaian market can meet with the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) at their investment hub, which will be present.
