MTN Nigeria begins its 21 days of Y’ello Care for 2023 to empower Entrepreneurs

MTN Nigeria has commenced its annual employee volunteerism initiative for 2023.

According to the firm, its 21 days of Y’ello Care for 2023 was themed ‘Empowering entrepreneurs to unlock growth and job creation for communities’.

It stated that it launched the 21 Days of Y’ello Care in 2007, to unlock growth, create job opportunities for communities in the country, and inspire MTN employees, encouraging them to actively contribute their resources to community development.

This year’s edition had commenced and would include webinars for eligible small and medium enterprise owners to improve their financial literacy, digital skills, and use of social media for business as well as one-on-one engagements with SMEs across the country.

The firm noted that it would host an exhibition and trade fair for SMEs to showcase and sell their products to MTN employees and partners at the head office.

In a statement, the Chief Corporate Services Officer, MTN Nigeria, Tobechukwu Okigbo, said, “Every year, we strive to ensure that through Y’ello Care we positively impact communities around us.

“This year, we have chosen to empower SMEs as an impactful sector of our growing economy. As the world continues to become a global digital village, we want to equip Nigerian entrepreneurs with the technology to grow and stay relevant nationally and internationally.”
