Nigeria: Parallex Bank introduces enhanced mobile app

Parallex Bank introduces an upgraded mobile banking app, named Parallex Mobile App 2.0.

The Managing Director of Parallex Bank, Dr Olufemi Bakre, said in a statement on Friday in Lagos, that the advanced mobile app was more convenient and functional than the previous version.

Bakre said, “The Parallex Mobile App serves as a comprehensive solution, enabling customers to conduct a diverse array of banking and lifestyle transactions directly from their smartphones or tablets, regardless of time or location. With its user-friendly features, Parallex App 2.0 revolutionises the banking landscape, offering enhanced accessibility and efficiency in financial management.

“With this enhanced mobile banking solution, we aim to empower our customers with greater convenience, flexibility, and control over their finances.”

He mentioned that customers could conveniently access a range of banking services including intrabank and interbank transfers, airtime and data top-up, password management, beneficiary management, account upgrades, and more, all through their mobile devices.

Bakre highlighted that Parallex Mobile App 2.0 signifies a major milestone in the bank’s continuous endeavor to revolutionize the banking experience.

Parallex Bank is one of Nigeria’s newest commercial banks, having evolved from a microfinance bank.

Registered in 2008, the bank commenced its transition on January 14, following the acquisition of a license from the Central Bank of Nigeria a year prior.
