The enterprise visits aimed at exploring potential areas for improvement and opportunities, included notable engagements with institutions such as Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), DBS Industries, Karima Auto Shipping, Lotto and Lotteries, Giant Traders, and Participatory Development Associate.
During the visit to KNUST, a long-term partner in expanding connectivity and digital education, Telecel Group’s Board Chair, Nicolas Bourg, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to enhancing the university’s connectivity infrastructure. “The quality of a country’s education is reflected in their quality of life. We understand the importance of providing reliable and fast connectivity for both students and faculty, which is why we are here today to listen, understand and ensure that our services align with KNUST’s evolving needs,” Bourg stated.
Telecel Ghana’s CEO and KNUST alumnus, Ing. Telecel Ghana holds this partnership in high esteem, and we will continue to offer KNUST improved connectivity to ensure it stays at the forefront of scientific and technological advancements,” she said.
Vice Chancellor of KNUST, Professor Rita Akosua Dickson, expressed gratitude for Telecel’s ongoing support, emphasizing the vital role of Telecel’s connectivity in supporting the university’s academic and research programs. “Telecel Ghana’s connectivity has been vital in supporting our academic and research programs, particularly in how we run our e-learning centers. Our graduates are leading in fields like engineering, health, agriculture, and technology. Our collaboration with Telecel has positioned us well in this regard, and we are excited to see where this partnership will take us,” Prof. Dickson remarked.
Telecel Ghana provides connectivity services to over 90,000 students and faculty members at KNUST’s main and satellite campuses across Ghana.
