Centenary bank announces Beatrix Mosiwa as new Deputy Managing Director

Centenary Bank has announced the appointment of Beatrix Mosiwa as its new Deputy Managing Director, marking a significant boost to its leadership team.

With over 24 years of diverse experience in financial services, manufacturing, telecommunications, and audit, Mosiwa brings a wealth of expertise in general management, financial reporting, strategic management, enterprise risk, and regulatory compliance.

Mosiwa joins Centenary Bank from CDH Investment Bank, where she served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, overseeing Finance, Operations, ICT, and Credit. Her illustrious career also includes senior leadership roles at Nedbank (Malawi) Limited, Dulux Limited, Carlsberg Group, Malawi Telecommunications Limited, and KPMG, showcasing her broad industry acumen.

A Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Malawi (ICAM), Mosiwa holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Ulster (Northern Ireland). She is also an alumna of the prestigious British Chevening Scholarship Programme, reflecting her academic and professional excellence.

The appointment has been met with enthusiasm from the Board and Management of Centenary Bank, who congratulated Mosiwa and expressed confidence in her ability to excel in her new role. “Her extensive experience and strategic insight will be invaluable as we continue to grow and strengthen our position in the market,” a bank spokesperson said.
