LCCI to Host Workshop

The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), will hold a national workshop focusing on the transportation industry with the theme ‘Capacity Building in the Transport Industry Vis-à-Vis the Railway, Maritime and Aviation Sub-sectors.’

The theme of the workshop will be addressed by leading Stakeholders in the industry like Director General, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dakuku Peterside, Managing Director, Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), Fidet Edetanien Okhiria, Director General, Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Captain Fola Akinkuotu, Mr. John Cashin, CEO & Director MetroRail Limited among others. Mr. Ladi Lawanson, Commissioner for Transportation, Lagos State is the guest of honour.

The purpose of the forum is to deliberate and share perspectives on new frontiers for the Nigerian transport sector. The Workshop is scheduled to hold on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the LCCI Conference and Exhibition Centre, behind MKO Abiola Gardens, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.

Muda Yusuf, Director General of LCCI said: “The workshop will create a platform for relevant stakeholders to address and exchange views on the dearth of skilled manpower in the transportation sub-sectors.”
