Republic Bank launches new mobile app and other digital services

Republic Bank (Ghana) PLC, a subsidiary of Republic Financial Holdings Limited has launched its new and technology advanced mobile app, USSD application and Internet Banking Service.

Speaking at the launch of the digital services of the Bank, the Managing Director of Republic Bank, Farid Antar touted the Bank’s new and improved digital services as the best on the market made with robust security systems and with wide range of financial services that both customers and non-customers can access.

Subscribers of the Bank’s digital services can now transact financial services such as money transfers to any mobile money service in Ghana, instant interbank transfers to bank account in Ghana, access to investments services, Micro Loans, access to Brokerage services for stock market dealings, personal finance including Bancassurance.

“People build apps with artificial intelligence in mind. We have built an App with people in mind,” the Managing Director added.

Mr. Antar alluded to the fact that the concept of a Mobile App is not new to many however, the Republic Bank’s mobile app has been designed to deliver superior financial services and with a 24/7 Customer Care support by the Bank.

“Just as a driver will always take a cue from cars ahead of him, we have mastered the science of research and the art of innovation to deliver a master piece of digital services that is robust with many functionalities that both customers and non-customers could utilize for all their financial transactions.”

The Republic Mobile Ghana app is now available on Play Store for android phone users and App Store for iOS phone Users. The USSD service can be accessed by dialing *414# on any telecommunication network in Ghana while Republic Online can be accessed via the website of Republic Bank www.repubicghana.com
