InstinctBusiness Magazine has crowned the determined entrepreneur, Sivi Malukisa Diawete, CEO of MANITECH CONGO “CEO OF THE WEEK” for the period of November 27th to December 3rd, 2022.

Sivi Malukisa Diawete is the chief executive officer of MANITECH CONGO, an agribusiness company that makes fresh, natural jams, jellies, sauces, flour, and peanut butter, sourced from Congolese farmers and processed by Congolese labor, these items are 100 percent Congolese.

Sivi Malukisa Diawete’s Educational Background

Sivi Malukisa Diawete’s life began in the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s small town of Kisangani, north of Kinshasa (DRC). She was accepted to University of Kinshasa (UNIKIN), after completing her secondary education, earning her bachelor’s degree in biotechnology.

Sivi Malukisa Diawete’s Career Background

Sivi Malukisa Diawete was offered a position as Human Resources Manager at DHL in the DRC and Republic of Congo soon after graduation. Her work with DHL opened doors for career progression in the HR sector with organizations like Vodacom and MIH, where she was elevated to the positions of HR Business Partner and HR Director.

Moreover, Malukisa founded the MADE IN 243 association as a community leader to bring together the resources and know-how of the owners and leaders of local Congolese industries. She also co-founded and serves as vice-president of ACPRH, the DRC’s largest human resources association. She has also been appointed TEF LEAD and Ambassador for the Tony Elumelu Foundation.

In 2013, she made the decision to launch MANITECH CONGO, a company in the food sector that makes natural jams, peanut butter, sauces, and flours, in order to pursue her passion for boosting the local economy. Sivi made the decision to leave the corporate sector in 2016 in order to focus entirely on her business.

MANITECH CONGO developed significantly after two years of effort and dedication, which allowed it to expand and invest in additional businesses, such as DRC PAINT, a building and accessory painting factory, and DRC CONSTRUCT, a construction and general works service company.

Now, Sivi Malukisa Diawete is seen as an outstanding figure in Promoting DRC Cuisine and making good natural items using knowledge She has acquired through technology.
