Consolidated Bank Launches Customer Focused Tag Line

Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG), Ghana’s Indigenous Universal Bank has launched a tag line to communicate its commitment to its local customer base.

The tag line: “We Stand with You”, seeks to underline the bank’s commitment as a trustworthy partner that stands with its customers “to build a future together as the people’s bank”.

Nana Abra-Appiah, Board Chair of the CBG, explained that the tag line “further defines the CBG’s purpose in changing the world of customer engagement through the roll out of consumer-centric offerings”.

Explaining the rationale behind the tag line at a media launch in Accra, he said: “At Consolidated Bank, customers are at the heart of our business and we look to delivering nothing short of superior services that differentiate us in the industry, hence the tag line: ‘We Stand With You’.”

He added that it was indicative of the bank’s resolve to stand by customers each step of the way as they navigated the dynamic and fast-moving business and personal aspects of life, amid technological advancement and innovations.

This emphasizes its dedication to remaining “a customer-focused brand” and “a bank for all”.

The Managing Director of the CBG, Mr Daniel Wilson Addo, said the brand message, “We Stand with You”, reflected the core mandate of the bank in terms of providing innovative banking solutions with excellence, integrity, innovation and teamwork that best supported all customers.

“Since our inception in August 2018, the CBG has promised and shown to be the trusted partner providing safe, secure and differentiated banking services,’’ he said.

The CBG Limited is a wholly owned Ghanaian bank incorporated on August 1, 2018. It has been licensed by the Bank of Ghana under the Specialised Deposit-Taking Institutions Act, 2016 (Act 930) to undertake universal banking services.

The bank prides itself as being the second largest bank in Ghana as a result of the over 114 branches it operates across the country.
