MultiChoice Partners Ghana Hotels Association with Strategic Agreement

MultiChoice Ghana has signed a strategic dealership agreement with the Ghana Hotels Association, aimed at enhancing the entertainment experience for hotel guests across the country. This partnership will enable hotel guests to access premium local and international content from DStv in every guest accommodation nationwide.

Under the agreement, members of the Ghana Hotels Association will benefit from exclusive packages and tailored solutions designed to meet the unique needs of the hospitality industry. This collaboration underscores MultiChoice Ghana’s commitment to delivering high-quality entertainment and supporting the growth of Ghana’s hospitality and tourism sector.

The agreement will facilitate the easy acquisition of DStv for Business installations for hotels, lodges, and guest houses. This partnership will allow hoteliers to create special packages for the varied categories of hospitality facilities across the country, potentially attracting more business, even in budget hotels in remote areas, by offering high-quality in-room entertainment with DStv services.

“We are excited to partner with the Ghana Hotels Association to bring world-class entertainment to hotel guests,” Managing Director of MultiChoice Ghana said Alex Okyere. “This agreement reflects our dedication to innovation and excellence in service delivery.”

President of the Ghana Hotels Association, Dr. Edward Ackah-Nyamike Jr., also expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “This collaboration with MultiChoice Ghana will significantly enhance the guest experience in our member hotels, providing them with a diverse range of entertainment options. The sector will now be in a better position to compete for international clientele, offering top-notch local and international news, sports, documentaries, movies, and general entertainment shows 24/7.”

The dealership agreement, signed in October, is set to commence immediately. Both MultiChoice Ghana and the Ghana Hotels Association look forward to a fruitful and long-lasting partnership.
