Victor Agbaroji resumes as new CEO role at Ingentia Energies

Victor Agbaroji has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer at Ingentia Energies Limited, the company announced following his formal assumption of office.

In a statement shared on his official LinkedIn page, Victor Agbaroji expressed appreciation to the Board of Directors for their confidence in him and thanked the Ingentia team for their warm welcome.

“I am delighted to announce that today, I have assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer at Ingentia Energies Limited,” he said. “My sincere gratitude goes to the Board of Directors for their trust, and to the entire Ingentia team for their incredibly warm welcome.”

Agbaroji noted that the Nigerian and global energy sectors are evolving rapidly, positioning Ingentia Energies to set standards for sustainable growth, drive innovation among peers, and create lasting value for stakeholders.

“It is a privilege to lead this organization into its next chapter of consolidation and strategic expansion,” he added. “I look forward to collaborating closely with our exceptionally talented teams and valued partners to advance our mission across the energy landscape.”

He outlined the company’s immediate priorities as safely delivering strategic growth, driving operational excellence, and anchoring sustainable value for all stakeholders.

Agbaroji brings more than two decades of experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to this appointment, he served as Chief Operating Officer at PeerGroup LLC in Houston, Texas, a role he held from January 2023.

Before that, he spent over four years at First Hydrocarbon Nigeria Limited, where he rose to Chief Operating Officer of the OML 26 Asset Management Team under the NPDC–First Hydrocarbon Nigeria Joint Venture.

His earlier career includes senior roles at Shell, spanning Shell Global Solutions International in The Hague and Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria in Port Harcourt.

At Shell, he held positions such as Resource One Operations Manager for the Hydrocarbon Portfolio Team, Subsurface Studies Lead, Senior Portfolio Analyst, Senior Reservoir Engineer, and Integrated Activity Planner. He began his professional journey as a Field Engineer with Oiltest Nigeria Limited.

With a track record spanning reservoir engineering, asset management, reserves reporting, operations, and leadership across Nigeria, the Netherlands, and the United States, Agbaroji is expected to guide Ingentia Energies through its next phase of growth in a transforming energy landscape.
