Eterna Plc appoints Jude Nwaulune as New MD/CEO

Eterna Plc has announced the appointment of Dr. Jude Nwaulune, as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

The company, in a statement shared on LinkedIn, described the appointment as “an exciting new chapter,” expressing confidence that Dr. Nwaulune’s extensive industry experience will strengthen the company’s drive for operational excellence, innovation, sustainable growth, and long-term value creation.

Dr. Nwaulune brings over 20 years of deep expertise in Nigeria’s downstream energy sector, with a strong track record spanning sales, marketing, logistics, operations management, and business development. Prior to his appointment at Eterna Plc, he served as Managing Director of Rainoil Logistics Service Limited, a subsidiary of the Rainoil Group.

At Rainoil Limited, he held several leadership positions, including Chief Operating Officer (2021–2023), Depot-Terminal Manager, Head of Liquefied Petroleum Gas, Regional Sales Manager (South West), and Retail Sales Manager. In these roles, he demonstrated exceptional capabilities in strategic planning, financial management, operational efficiency, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership.

He holds a Doctorate (PhD) and a Master’s degree in Marketing from Babcock University, further strengthening his credentials in business strategy and market development.

The appointment comes as Eterna Plc continues to position itself as a key player in Nigeria’s evolving energy landscape, with expectations that Dr. Nwaulune’s leadership will accelerate growth and reinforce operational standards across the organization.
