Bboxx Ghana has marked an exciting milestone with the launch of its first retail shop in Kumasi. The new outlet enables customers to purchase smartphones and other essential products and services with an initial deposit, followed by affordable daily or weekly payments over a period of four to six months.
Located at Sofoline, opposite Prempeh College and next to GCB Bank, the store’s grand opening saw a remarkable turnout. Staff members, business partners, and customers gathered to celebrate and witness the occasion.
The event featured a speech by Leticia Insaidoo, Managing Director of Bboxx Ghana, who shared her enthusiasm about the company’s growth and the new store’s potential to serve the community.
“We at Bboxx Ghana are very excited about opening this retail shop because it marks a significant part of our vision of expanding our reach across Ghana, especially in the Ashanti region,” . She emphasized the company’s mission to unlock potential by providing access to essential goods and services.
Mrs. Leticia Insaidoo highlighted the importance of proximity to customers, stating, “We are passionate about unlocking potential by providing access to essential goods and services, and we are able to do that when we are within arm’s reach of the customer.
By opening this retail shop at Sofoline, we are effectively positioning ourselves to serve our current and potential customers better.”
She also noted that since introducing Bboxx Ghana’s smartphone pay-as-you-go service in the Ashanti region, Bboxx has helped over 4,000 customers acquire smartphones, positively impacting many households.
Mrs. Leticia Insaidoo also detailed the broader vision of Bboxx, which includes providing access to digital learning platforms, supporting small businesses in expanding their online commerce, and driving financial inclusion.
“Imagine providing access to digital learning platforms, helping small businesses expand their customer reach through online commerce platforms, and driving financial inclusion through our first retail shop in Kumasi.
This is the vision of Bboxx: to bring down the barrier of inaccessibility to digital inclusion, providing the solution of owning an essential tool like a smartphone via flexible payment terms.”
The Managing Director also extended an invitation to the industrious people of the Ashanti region to join Bboxx’s network of retail agents and direct sales representatives.
