Ghana: HypeNet CEO shares her business story on YLeaderboard

Chief Executive Officer of HypeNet Marketing Group, Rhoda Naa Yemoley Odoi has been a smooth conveyance for life in her career journey.

“ I stay focused and succeed at my own pace,” Rhoda told YLeaderboard.

Rhoda is a product of the Ghana Institute of Journalism, the University of Ghana, and Manhattan in New York where she pursued a Master of Arts in Public Relations, Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and Digital Communication Multimedia respectively.

She doubles as a certified digital marketer and CEO. The 27-year-old was born and bred in a military home with her parents and two elderly brothers at Burma Camp.

Growing up, Rhoda’s inspiration was acquired from her nuclear family to remain focused and succeed at own her pace.

Setting up her business in 2014, Rhoda had to quit her internship to become the brand influencer for her company following her company’s need for a brand influencer to help them in an activation.

The decision paved the way for her to read widely about digital marketing to later establish her HypeNet business.

HypeNet is currently a marketing communications agency focused on executing executive media activations for brands.

Rhoda became passionate about HypeNet after realizing corporate organizations and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) lacked a bit of digital marketing.

Through her brand engagements, HypeNet is one of the leading digital agencies in Ghana.

HypeNet has, over the years, served clients – including Charterhouse, MTN Ghana, Xodus Communications, British Council, Genie Intel, Musiga, Action Chapel, Bedita Pharmaceuticals, National Youth Authority, Ministry of Information, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Energy, Tel Energy, Breakfast Club Africa, and many more.

Rhoda reveals she cannot give up on the team that has contributed more to her successful journey  “No, I cannot give up on these people. I have to continue because since I started in 2014, they have been with me. And for them, it is also not about the money, but getting the work done,” she said.

Rhoda believes in optimism and persistence which to her is taking her brand far.
