Ghana: Peace Hyde to participate in World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders Class of 2023

British Ghanaian TV character, media entrepreneur, education activist, and philanthropist, Peace Hyde has been included in a global list of experts at the World Economic Forum of Young Global Leaders.

The yearly forum will see the world’s most promising leaders under the age of 40 in participation. This year’s list also features the Editor-In-Chief of Vogue China, the Governor of Nairobi Country in Kenya and a host of young innovators in the field of arts, civil service, engineering and media.

“This year, we are thrilled to welcome the Class of 2023 into our community of outstanding people addressing the world’s most pressing problems and driving innovation for positive change across civil society, the arts, culture, government and business,” a release on the World Economic Forum said.

Hyde, 37, as the head of digital media and partnerships for Forbes Africa and the founder of Aim Higher Africa, a non-profit organization that focuses on empowering unemployed youth through education and entrepreneurship joins the list with a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Sharing the news on social media, the Netflix producer disclosed that she was on ‘cloud 9’ and ‘deeply humbled’ over the selection.

According to the Forum, the selected leaders will meet over the next three years to plan, strategize and discuss ways to tackle the myriad of issues facing young people across the globe.
