Ghana: Vodafone concludes 10th Dream Car promo cycle

Vodafone Ghana’s Dream Car Promo, a six-month SMS-based trivia challenge, has completed its tenth cycle, crowning Renay Tutu as the champion, who won a brand-new Suzuki Swift. Alongside Tutu, six participants were awarded the coveted iPhone 14. This promotion has become a highlight for Vodafone Ghana customers, offering excitement and rewards.

During the promotion, subscribers participated in an interactive trivia game, answering daily questions to earn points and rise on the leaderboard. With enticing prizes such as monthly iPhone 14 giveaways and the grand prize of a Suzuki Swift, the competition spurred lively engagement among participants.

Renay Tutu, the grand prize winner, shared his excitement, “I have been playing the game for three years, and I was winning mobile phones instead. I haven’t won a car before until now and I am so happy that I won the Vodafone Ghana Dream Car Promo, I don’t even know what to do again!”

David Umoh, Director of the Consumer Business Unit at Vodafone Ghana, emphasised the importance of such promotions in strengthening customer relationships. “Our commitment through the Dream Car Promo is to offer unique and enriching experiences, and it is rewarding to see customers like Renay Tutu embrace and succeed in these initiatives,” he stated.

The Dream Car Promo is a component of Vodafone Ghana’s comprehensive initiative to engage and reward its customers, featuring a car giveaway every six months alongside monthly prizes. As part of its evolution, the telecommunications company will rebrand as Telecel Ghana by the end of the first quarter of 2024, following the acquisition of a 70% majority stake by the Telecel Group in February 2023. Initiatives like the Dream Car Promo are pivotal during this transition, showcasing the company’s ongoing commitment to providing distinctive and gratifying experiences for its customers.

The tenth cycle of the promotion, which commenced in May 2023, welcomed all Vodafone Ghana customers to participate. With the eleventh cycle currently ongoing, customers can join by dialing *2018#. To compete, participants must answer up to five daily questions, accumulating points that could secure monthly iPhone rewards or the grand prize of a Suzuki Swift after six months.

As Vodafone Ghana proceeds with the eleventh cycle of the Dream Car Promo, excitement among customers is mounting, offering the promise of additional thrills and opportunities for rewarding engagement in the upcoming months.
