Ghana: YEA extends BEAP portal accessibility for business applicants

The management of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has confirmed that the Business and Employment Assistance Programme (BEAP) portal is still open for business applications. This announcement is directed towards the business community and companies keen on participating in the program.

The Agency said, “The portal is also available for jobseekers seeking opportunities with any of the beneficiary companies across various sectors of the economy.

“Interested jobseekers, potential employers, and businesses can submit their applications through the YEA portal at www.yea.gov.gh or apply.yea.gov.gh.”

In response to the need for swift enrollment of jobseekers and the desire to empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), the management has decided to expedite the registration process. This initiative aims to provide businesses with the chance to strengthen their operations, fostering additional employment opportunities.

The Agency said the initiative reaffirms its “commitment to encouraging eligible MSMEs to participate in the programme.

“It aligns with the formal introduction and launch of the YEA Business and Employment Assistance Support Programme (BEAP), aimed at aiding businesses adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.”

The YEA’s core objective is aligned with its mandate to support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that faced decreased turnovers in the aftermath of the pandemic, resulting in workforce reductions.

The aim is to aid these businesses in rehiring former employees, attracting new talent, and providing essential skills to enhance overall productivity.
