Global: KFC Global to welcome Alex Barsk as it’s new CFO

KFC Global has unveiled Alex Barsk as its incoming Chief Financial Officer (CFO), to assume the role on June 1, 2024.

Reporting directly to Sabir Sami, KFC Global’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Barsk will steer the company’s financial operations worldwide. Her responsibilities will encompass guiding KFC’s global Finance function to sustain growth and bolster profitability, while also spearheading oversight of Financial Planning Analysis and Strategy functions within the organization.

Bringing valuable experience from within the Yum! Brands family, Alex transitions from her role as Global Chief Financial Officer at Pizza Hut to assume the mantle of CFO at KFC Global. Since joining Pizza Hut in 2015, she has demonstrated her capabilities across various leadership positions encompassing Strategy, Finance, Development, and Supply Chain. During her tenure, Alex played a pivotal role in driving Pizza Hut’s growth agenda, showcasing her adeptness at navigating complex business landscapes.

Known for her heart-centered leadership approach, Alex is celebrated for her ability to inspire and cultivate a high-performing culture within teams. Her track record as a catalyst for positive change underscores her commitment to fostering environments that nurture both individual and collective success. As a true global citizen, Alex brings a wealth of perspectives and experiences that enrich the fabric of KFC Global’s leadership team.

Before her tenure at Yum! Brands, Alex honed her strategic acumen as an Engagement Manager at Strategy& (formerly Booz & Company), where she operated out of both the London and Dallas offices. This background equipped her with a robust skill set and a deep understanding of strategic imperatives, further solidifying her capacity to drive impactful outcomes in her new role at KFC Global.

Renowned for her ability to foster high-performing cultures, she is adept at cultivating environments where individuals thrive and excel collectively.
