Guinness Ghana Launches Black & White Scotch whisky

Ghana’s leading total beverage Company, Guinness Ghana Breweries Ltd (GGBL), has officially launched one of the world’s popular blended Scotch whiskies, Black and White onto the Ghanaian market.

Commenting on the launch of the new Black & White whisky, the Head of Innovations & Consumer Connectivity, Koffi Allaglo said, “At GGBL the consumer is at the heart of everything we do, we have always been informed by the need to satisfy different consumer taste profiles that evolve and change over time and the launch of Black & White whisky today underscores the importance of our consumers. We will continue to innovate with new products that exceed consumer expectations”.

The Brands Manager, Gilbert Tweneboah-Koduah, added that Black and White whisky is a high-quality scotch whisky, with a perfectly smooth taste, and can be enjoyed neat and mixed with consumers’ favourite mixers.

“Black and White whisky is more than just your typical whisky; it is a brand that is positioned to redefine the experience in the spirit market as it is masterfully blended as an accessible whisky that would recruit more consumers into the whisky category”.

Packaged in two sizes – 75cl and 20cl, Black & White whisky is perfect for the celebration of life among friends and family every day, everywhere.

Black and White Whisky

Black & White is a blended Scotch whisky. It was originally produced by the London-based James Buchanan & Co Ltd founded by James Buchanan.

Originally known as House of Commons (after the British House of Commons), its nickname, referring to the black and white labelling, was eventually adopted as the official brand instead.

First introduced in the late 19th century, today Black & White is popular around the world in countries such as India, South Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean and now available in Ghana at any mainstream bar or shop near you.
