Infobip appoints Mirta Pađen Lee as new VP of People to drive AI-first transformation

Global AI-first cloud communications platform Infobip has appointed Mirta Pađen Lee as Vice President of People, effective 1 October 2026. The appointment supports the company’s continued growth, organisational transformation and ongoing evolution into an AI-first business.

The leadership change comes as Infobip marks its 20th anniversary and enters a new phase centred on innovation, operational excellence and sustained investment in people, leadership and artificial intelligence capabilities across the organisation.

In her new role, Pađen Lee will lead Infobip’s global People Operations function. She will oversee people strategy, organisational development, total rewards, HR operations, leadership enablement and transformation initiatives designed to underpin the company’s long-term growth and evolving operating model.

She succeeds Marin Bezić, who joined Infobip in 2021 and has served as Vice President of People for the past three years, making a significant contribution to the company’s people and organisational development.
A central priority of the role will be guiding the organisational and cultural transformation required in an AI-first environment.

Adaptability, collaboration, continuous learning and new ways of working are becoming increasingly critical across all business functions as Infobip embeds artificial intelligence into its products, operations and internal workflows. At the same time, the company continues to invest in employee upskilling and organisational agility, ensuring its people are equipped with the skills, mindset and support needed to work confidently alongside emerging technologies.

Prior to joining Infobip, Pađen Lee held senior HR leadership positions at MOL Group and IKEA SEE, where she led international HR and organisational transformation initiatives across multiple markets.

Her expertise spans leadership development, workforce planning, organisational effectiveness and HR operations. She holds a CIPD Level 5 Certificate in Human Resource Management and has completed numerous programmes in HR, coaching, leadership and business education throughout her career.
