Telecel Ghana Expands Customer Service with New Retail Shop at Marina Mall

Telecel Ghana, a leading telecommunications provider, has announced the opening of its latest retail shop at the Marina Mall in Airport City, Accra. This new addition is part of the company’s strategy to enhance customer access to in-person support and expand its footprint across Ghana.

The new retail outlet, located on the ground floor opposite the Marina Supermarket, is Telecel Ghana’s 57th retail shop in Accra, contributing to its over 400 physical touchpoints nationwide. This expansion aims to cater to the increasing demand for voice, data, and cash services from its growing customer base.

General Manager of Commercial Operations at Telecel Ghana, Mercy Akude, highlighted the motivation behind this strategic move: “Daily, we receive a high number of customers walking into our corporate headquarters in Airport City for customer support. Hence, we found it prudent to open a retail shop in the area to serve our customers’ growing demand for voice, data, and cash products and services.”

Centre Manager of Marina Mall, Ernestina Amoah, expressed her excitement about the new shop: “We are truly excited to have Telecel Ghana open its retail shop inside the mall. Having their presence here will help increase our foot traffic and we have shops in here that provide complementary services for Telecel users as well.”

The grand opening event saw the attendance of Telecel Ghana’s senior management team, mall management, and customers. The first set of customers received branded souvenirs and gifts as part of the celebrations.

The Marina Mall retail shop operates from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 7 pm, Saturdays from 9 am to 5 pm, and Sundays and holidays from 12 pm to 5 pm.

This new retail shop marks yet another step toward Telecel Ghana’s goal of increasing its touchpoints across the country.
