uniBank Ghana Named Platinum Sponsor of 3rd Banking & Insurance Fair

uniBank Ghana named platinum sponsor of 3rd Banking

Indigenous Ghanaian bank, uniBank Ghana Limited, has thrown its weight behind the upcoming 3rd Banking and Insurance Fair as a platinum sponsor in line with its quest to enhance financial literacy and inclusion in the country.

The bank is also urging sister players in the financial sector to help push the initiative which seeks to create the right linkages between the various financial services providers and their existing/potential customers.

Director of Marketing and Alternate Channels at uniBank, Clifford Duke Mettle, said of the sponsorship: “We are excited and really pleased to partner and to be the platinum sponsor of the 3rd Banking and Insurance Fair because of the synergy between the two institutions and in fact, as much as it is a financial fair.

As an indigenous bank, we want to push the growth of the financial sector and we call on other firms to come on board to push the financial inclusion agenda.”

He added: “There are issues evolving in the industry and as a prime bank, we want to take steps in ensuring that we find a center stage in making sure that all issues relating to the financial industry are addressed at the upcoming fair.”

The Banking and Insurance Fair is an annual event of Kotlers Management Limited which seeks to enhance public awareness on the need to invest and insure towards their future.

This year’s edition which comes off August 10-11 will include seminars and forums where consumers of insurance and banking products can share their complaints and get the needed feedback in the bid to sanitise the public image of the banking and insurance practice.

The event will also provide an avenue for exhibitors to introduce new products and services to customers and the market.

The fair is targeted at the general public and students and who are yet to enter the work environment.

Mr. Mettle encouraged all service providers in the financial sector to participate in the fair to help whip up public confidence in the industry through better customer service delivery.

He noted: “uniBank Bancassurance is one of the best bancassurance providers in the country, we trust that, our sister company being Star Life/Star Assurance could be part of the event to make it a success. We wish to invite everybody to this fair as we thank all our customers for making us the uniBank they prefer.”
