The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has signed a deal with Korea Petroleum Quality and Distribution Authority (K-Petro) to ensure petroleum products consumed by the public are of the highest quality.

The delegation of K-Petro, the Korean petroleum company led by its Chief Executive, Son Joo-Suk, came to Ghana to explore partnership opportunities with the NPA. This will ensure that the NPA taps into the expertise of the Korean company in the areas of product quality, distribution and consumption.

Speaking to the delegation in Accra, the Chief Executive of NPA, Hassan Tampuli said that improving the petroleum quality and distribution systems are critical to the operations in the downstream sector, stressing that the right steps will also be taken to ensure service providers abide by the drive to improve service quality.
