FBNBank opens Atomic Junction branch

FBNBank Ghana has opened a new full-service branch at Atomic Junction in Accra, to provide comprehensive financial services for its customers in the nearby suburbs of University of Ghana, Madina, North Legon, Atomic, Haatso, Agbogba and its environs.

The Atomic Junction branch opening takes the number of FBN Banks in Ghana to 21, thereby reinforcing the bank’s commitment to working together with all its customer segments to meet banking needs of its diverse customer base.

Commenting on the new branch at its grand opening, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director of FBN Bank Ghana, Mr. Victor Yaw Asante, noted that the new branch forms part of FBN’s commitment and objective to position itself as the go-to partner for SMEs.

“This branch is strategically positioned here to support the growing businesses and residents in the Madina, Haatso and Legon enclave; and it also places FBN as one of the most ideal locations to attend to the banking needs of two of our key customer segments: SMEs and retail.

“Over the last few years, we have seen a number of businesses established here to meet the fast-growing needs of the population. Quite a number of these businesses are SMEs, and in addition these enclaves also accommodate several tertiary institutions with huge young populations – not to mention the numerous suburbs around here.

“They all need an exciting banking relationship like that which FBN offers, and this creates a hotspot for offering our goal of excellence and value. It is exciting news for us as a bank, for which reason we have set up here in order to attend to such needs,” he said.

Delivering the keynote address, Non-Executive Director-FBN Ghana, Ms. Rosie Ebe-Arthur, commended management of FBN Bank Ghana for its continuous contribution to the country’s economic growth since inception.

“FBN Bank, being conscious of the role of banks in the economic development of the country, has chosen to make a difference through its offerings and propositions on the platform of keeping its customers and all stakeholders at the heart of what it does. The bank has subsequently positioned itself strategically as the go-to partner for SMEs, and also for trade generally,” she said.

She noted that the new branch is the 21st in a network of touch-points with the main purpose of supporting FBN’s agenda of contributing positively to Ghana’s socio-economic development by bringing quality banking services to the general public, particularly businesses.

She reiterated that FBN will continue its pursuit of enhancing the lives of its customers, adding that the bank is compelled to make innovations an utmost priority for its clientele.

“In all these, we are compelled to make innovations work for us; and this means that in delivering on our commitments to Ghana, its people and clients as well as customers, we will remain innovative; employing technology and recent global trends which will endear us to our stakeholders,” she noted.
