

Midwestern Ltd appoints Elozino Olaniyan as first female CEO
Midwestern Oil & Gas Company Limited has named Engr (Mrs) Elozino Olaniyan as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 December 2025.
The appointment makes Olaniyan the first woman to lead the indigenous exploration and production company in its 23-year history, a milestone the board described as “a proud testament to our unwavering commitment to inclusion, innovation and governance excellence.”
A seasoned energy sector leader with more than thirty years of experience, Olaniyan has built a distinguished career steering complex upstream operations, championing local content development and delivering sustainable growth across Nigeria’s oil and gas landscape.
