Davies appoints Pino Vallejo as new CEO for key division

Insurance service provider Davies has announced the appointment of Pino Vallejo as the new CEO of its multi-sector global consulting division previously known as Sionic.

Vallejo brings over three decades of financial services leadership experience to the role. For the last eight years, he has served with Davies’ banking and markets team and oversaw the opening of the firm’s first office in Madrid, Spain.

Vallejo’s appointment comes amid Davies’ continued plans to expand its operations to new markets and geographies. Under his leadership, Consulting at Davies will form part of Davies’ Global Solutions division – which also incorporates the firm’s SaaS technology suite and insurance services and forensic accounting businesses, led by Global Solutions CEO Mark Grocott.

Commenting on his appointment, Vallejo said: “I’m very excited to have been named as the CEO of a very talented group of professionals. The offering we have built over the years in the consulting space and now under the Davies banner is impressive, and I believe that our best days are still ahead of us.”

Grocott also commented on the move, congratulating Vallejo on his promotion and highlighting that his “extensive experience” will bolster the business as it continues to grow its operations across the world.

In 2021 Davies acquired the financial services consulting firm, Sionic, rebranding it to Davies late last year.
