Nigeria: Nigeria and Ericsson Collaborate on 5G Innovation Lab

Nigeria has partnered with Swedish telecom giant Ericsson to establish a 5G Innovation Lab, aiming to advance the country’s digital infrastructure.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was revealed by Vice President Kashim Shettima’s spokesman, Stanley Nkwocha, during the Vice President’s working visit to Sweden.

Ericsson, renowned for its pioneering role in mobile networks and 5G technology, will play a crucial part in enhancing Nigeria’s telecommunications capabilities.

This collaboration is expected to bring faster internet speeds, improved connectivity, and spur innovation across various sectors.
