Nigeria: Stanbic IBTC Bank champions homeownership

Stanbic IBTC Bank has expressed its commitment to empowering Nigerians to become homeowners through tailored products and expert guidance.

This commitment was highlighted at the recently concluded Home Ownership Summit, where Stanbic IBTC Bank advocated for the realization of Nigerians’ homeownership aspirations and the creation of property wealth. The summit served as a platform for the bank to engage with potential homeowners and key stakeholders in the industry.

The summit attracted a diverse audience, including real estate enthusiasts, investors, and industry experts.

During his keynote address, Abdulhafiz Toriola, the Permanent Secretary of Lagos State Ministry of Housing, delivered a comprehensive overview and provided critical insights into building wealth through homeownership.

Experts at the event also delved into mortgage financing complexities, offered guidance on navigating the home buying process, and provided insights on property valuation.

The Chief Executive Officer of Stanbic IBTC Bank, Wole Adeniyi, underscored the significance of homeownership as a cornerstone of financial stability and wealth creation.

He said, “As access to affordable housing remains a pressing issue, our Home Loan solution offers hope. With competitive interest rates, flexible equity contribution, and personalised guidance, our bank aims to bridge the gap and make home ownership attainable for our stakeholders.”
