Oxford Leadership appoints Ricardo Sookdeo as Managing Partner

A global leadership consultancy firm that operates across 28 countries with over 1,000,000 alumni, Oxford Leadership, has announced the appointment of Ricardo Sookdeo, as Managing Partner, effective September 1st,2022.

He will oversee the day-to-day running of the business alongside Group Program Director Greg Orme, Head of Marketing & Brand Jonathan Yukawa and company founder and executive chairman Brian Bacon.

Ricardo Sookdeo was previously a client of the globally renowned consultancy, his high-level professional experiences span Asia, Europe, Australia, Latin America and the US, and include working as Head of Talent/Leadership Development at ING, Maersk, Nordea, IKEA, and, most recently, Global Head of Talent, Leadership and Culture at Johnson Matthey.

Ricardo’s predominant focus is strategy, mergers and acquisitions, organisational development, talent management, leadership development, performance management, diversity and inclusion and culture transformation.

Ricardo’s extensive experience in leadership has been augmented by the success of his own Stockholm-based leadership consultancy, Dynamic Equipoise Training & Consulting, which he founded in 2020. Having been a client of Oxford Leadership for more than 15 years in his previous professional roles, he has developed a keen business acumen and understanding of the nature of leadership.

The new position is an exciting next step in Ricardo’s career, where he hopes to utilise his expertise to continue to support clients, growth and development of the business and build a strong, engaged team, while strengthening the current partnership system. He will also be looking to establish new leadership practices, helping to enhance the brand’s existing position as a thought leader.
