Republic Bank Launches New Premier Branch in Techiman

Republic Bank (Ghana) PLC has opened a new, modern branch in Techiman, marking a significant step in the bank’s commitment to providing enhanced banking services to the community. The new location, now named the Premier Branch, was inaugurated with a ceremony attended by prominent figures and community leaders.

The Regional Manager of the Bank of Ghana, Mr. Abdulai Lawal Abubakar, praised Republic Bank for its ethical banking practices. Traditional leader Daasebre Ameyaw Kwarteng Amanaimpong II, Oyokohene of the Techiman Traditional Area and Buoyemhene, encouraged local residents to continue their support for the bank.

During the event, Dr. Gladstone Kessie, a customer of the bank, shared his success story of obtaining a home through Republic Bank’s mortgage services. He urged others to trust the bank with their financial needs.

Managing Director of Republic Bank, Mr. Benjamin Dzoboku, highlighted the bank’s strategic focus on empowering small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) as well as retail, commercial, corporate, and mortgage customers. “The Premier Branch represents our pledge to prioritize our customers’ business and financial goals,” Dzoboku stated. “This modern facility is an investment in the people of Techiman, offering innovative solutions and personalized support to help our customers achieve their dreams.”

The Premier Branch aims to set a new standard for banking in Techiman, featuring improved accessibility and a superior ambience. It also houses Republic Boafo Limited, a subsidiary focused on supporting MSMEs.

Other notable attendees at the inauguration included Mr. Venus Friths from Republic Financial Holdings Limited (RFHL), Mr. Joseph Laryea Ashong, General Manager of Commercial and Retail Banking, and Mrs. Evelyn Osei-Tutu, Managing Director of Republic Boafo Limited.
