DVLA’S Procurement Head Becomes Fellow at the Chartered Institute of Peace and Governance, Texas USA.

The Head of Procurement at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority, Dr Robert Kwaku Tay has been inducted into the supreme council of United International Peace and Governance council of Africa (UNIPGC AFRICA) as a distinguished Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Peace and Governance, Texas USA.

This makes him a UN SDG Peace icon, an Ambassador and a Honorary Associate Professor in Peace Studies and Corporate Governance by Highstone International University, USA.

The inauguration which took place at the 11th Edition of the PAN AFRICAN LEADERSHIP SYMPOSIUM & HONORS (PALISH ACCRA 2023) was held on the 10th of February,2023 at the Accra international conference Centre, Ghana.

The recognition comes on the back of expertise and vast experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, both in the private and public procurement sector.

In a statement released by UNIPGC AFRICA, it cited many premises for this honour including “Your selection for this distinguished Fellowship and Leadership Excellence Conferment is because of your impressive, excellent, enviable, and incorruptible landmark of accomplishment as the Deputy Director and Head of Procurement and Store Department of the D.V.L.A.”

“Your selection for honor as ICON OF PEACE. under the Chartered institute of peace and Governance Council Texas, USA is in recognition of your patriotism and boldness in delivering a transparent leadership process. These honors are in celebration of your efforts towards Prioritizing Peace, Security, Reconciliation, and inclusivity,” it added.
