Hollard Ghana Opens new 50-Seat Call Centre in Accra

Hollard Ghana has inaugurated a 50-seat call centre in Accra as part of efforts to strengthen customer service and improve engagement with its growing number of policyholders.

The new facility, which supports both Hollard Insurance and Hollard Life operations, will handle inbound customer calls while also carrying out proactive outreach to clients. The centre will provide support on claims, policy renewals, product enquiries, policy updates and other customer service requests.

Group Chief Executive Officer of Hollard Ghana, Patience Akyianu, said the investment reflects the company’s commitment to ensuring customers receive prompt and quality service.

According to Akyianu, the insurer’s purpose is to enable more people to create and secure a better future by treating customers with care and dignity. She noted that the new call centre would allow the company to respond faster to customer needs and ensure every interaction aligns with Hollard’s service values.

The expansion has also led to job creation, with additional employees recruited to operate the facility.

Managing Director of Hollard Insurance, Daniel Boi Addo, said the company’s expanding customer base made the investment necessary. He described insurance as a business built on trust and accessibility, adding that the new centre would provide customers with easier access to support services.

Addo said members of the customer experience team have been trained to guide clients through various stages of their insurance journey and deliver timely assistance when required.

As part of the initiative, customers may receive calls from Hollard’s official toll-free line, 0800 444 999. According to the company, these calls will provide service updates, proactive engagement and information on value-added products.

The call centre complements Hollard’s existing service channels, which include branches across Ghana, Hollard 2U franchise outlets, Shell Fuel Station Welcome Shops, Melcom stores and digital platforms.

Hollard has operated in Ghana for 25 years, having previously traded as Metropolitan Insurance. The group currently operates in 18 countries and offers a range of life and non-life insurance products, including motor, home, travel, business, funeral and agricultural insurance solutions.
