David Obuamah Appointed as New Chairperson of Dalex Board of Directors 

Dalex Finance and Leasing Company Limited (DALEX) has announced the appointment of David Obuamah as the new chairperson of the DALEX Board of Directors, succeeding Alex Bruks. David Obuamah, a seasoned finance professional and business leader, brings a wealth of experience to his new role.

In his farewell statement, Alex Bruks reflected on his tenure as founder and chairman of DALEX, highlighting the company’s growth and success in the Ghanaian financial sector. He expressed pride in the company’s world-class strategy and culture, noting its contributions to employment and valued services to over 500,000 individuals and companies. After 15 years, Bruks has decided to move on, confident in Obuamah’s ability to lead DALEX into a prosperous future.

David Obuamah’s extensive background includes senior management positions at Croydon Council, Surrey and Sussex Probation Trust, and Buckinghamshire County Council in the United Kingdom. In Ghana, he held executive roles at the Controller and Accountant General’s Department and Hedge Pensions Trust. His proven track record in implementing financial and management systems in both private and public sectors positions him well to guide DALEX’s continued success.

DALEX, renowned as Ghana’s leading non-bank finance house, has built a reputation for secure digital lending. With David Obuamah at the helm, the company is poised for even greater achievements in the financial sector.
