Ghana: FirstBank relaunches Kasoa branch

FirstBank Ghana has relaunched its Kasoa branch, marking a new chapter in its commitment to serving the local community with excellence and satisfaction.

FirstBank Ghana’s Managing Director (MD), Victor Yaw Asante, emphasised in a speech the bank’s commitment to providing world-class banking services and financial inclusion to empower Ghanaians.

“We also know that first and foremost, this branch will act as an economic catalyst for the local communities around Kasoa. It will provide financing options for small businesses, which are often considered the backbone of local economies,” he revealed.

“Moreover, this refurbished Kasoa branch will provide opportunities for face-to-face service that the FirstBank brand is reputed for to both our customers and prospects with the various professionals stationed here, something that modern-day digital banking cannot deliver,” he added.

Mr. Asante added that in addition to improved services and facilities tailored to a wide range of customer needs, the remodeled branch offers payment options through the Pan-African Payment and Settlement System (PAPSS) and international remittances.

“Aside from our channels and other products, our collections platform presents you, our valued clients and customers with options to make payments for government services, school fees and others.

The Pan-African Payment and Settlement System (PAPSS) offering is available to provide solutions to current and potential customers so that sending and receiving money to and from various parts of the African continent is assured. We aim to create a banking environment that fosters growth, convenience, and accessibility for all our customers and prospects in Kasoa and its neighbouring communities,” he mentioned.

He went ahead to  assure customers that FirstBank remains committed to delivering its gold standard of value and excellence, putting customers at the heart of its operations.

“Our promise to always deliver the ultimate gold standard of value and excellence remains the same. It is a good time to demonstrate that we are here for you, and committed to you, our stakeholders. This is how we differentiate our brand and that is what we mean when we say “You First.” he said.

Mr. Asante reaffirmed his company’s dedication to developing a banking environment that supports expansion, accessibility, and ease of use for all clients and potential clients in Kasoa and the surrounding areas.

He affirmed that “Over the last few years, we have seen a number of businesses established here to meet the growing needs of the fast-growing human population. Quite a number of the businesses here happen to be Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and we are here to assist them and all other customer segments”.
