Telekom Networks Malawi announces appointment of Arnold as new CEO

The Board of Directors of Telekom Networks Malawi (TNM) Plc, a mobile network in Malawi, has announced the appointment of Arnold Kweyani Mbwana as the new Chief Executive Officer of Telekom Networks Malawi Plc with effect from 1 March 2021.

Mbwana takes over from Michiel Buitelaar who left last year in November.

Arnold is a Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and holds a bachelor of Accountancy Degree from the University of Malawi. He also completed the International Executive Development Programme (IEDP) under Wits Business School and London Business School.

He joined TNM Plc in 2011 and has been central to TNM’s growth over the past ten years. He has served as TNM’s Chief Audit and Risk Officer, Chief Finance Officer and as Acting Chief Executive Officer. He was wished all the best by the Board of Directors in taking on this new challenge.
