Ghana: eTranzact appoints Rev. Prof. Paul Frimpong-Manso as Board Chair

eTranzact Ghana Limited, a trailblazer in payment technology solutions, has appointed Rev. Prof. Paul Frimpong-Manso as its new Board Chairperson.

Rev. Prof. Frimpong-Manso steps into this role with over four decades of exemplary leadership and executive experience, having been an influential figure on numerous boards across both public and private sectors.

His distinguished career encompasses a broad spectrum of expertise, from Christian ministry to corporate governance and motivational speaking. As a revered global leader, his contributions have significantly impacted both the religious and corporate arenas.

This pivotal appointment is poised to strengthen eTranzact Ghana’s dedication to excellence and innovation within the fintech sector.

Commenting on the new appointment, John Apea, the CEO of eTranzact Ghana, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are delighted to have Rev. Rev. Prof. Frimpong-Manso previously held prominent leadership positions, including President of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) and General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Ghana, where he led numerous successful initiatives.

Beyond his religious and executive roles, Prof. Frimpong-Manso has made a significant impact in the corporate world, serving on over twenty corporate boards, including several within the financial sector.

Rev. Prof. Frimpong-Manso currently holds esteemed positions such as Board Chairman of Kwamanman Rural Bank PLC and Thrivus Institute, in addition to serving as a Council Member at Christian Service University (CSU). His national contributions include his role as the former Board Chairman of the National Commission on Small Arms and Light Weapons. He is also the Founder and President of the Frimpong-Manso Institute (FMI), a Christian think-tank dedicated to offering unbiased insights to shape Christian perspectives and drive societal transformation globally.

Rev. Prof. Frimpong-Manso’s academic credentials are equally remarkable. He is a Professor of Ministry and Theology at Global University, Springfield-MO, USA, holds a PhD in Theology from the University of Wales (UK), and has received an Honorary Doctorate from the Pan African Theological Seminary/Clergy Council. Additionally, he earned a Master of Arts from the University of Sheffield and a Cambridge Diploma in Religious Studies from the University of Cambridge (UK).
