MTN Nigeria announces plan to Train 3000 Youth Entrepreneurs on ICT

In line with its youth empowerment programme and contribution to the betterment of the nation and her citizens, MTN Foundation has opened up the application portal for the fifth edition of her ICT and Business Skills Training for youths in Nigeria.

The training program will be held virtually and is set to train 3000 young entrepreneurs in digital skills, across six states of the federation and give equipment grants of up to N40 million to 200 entrepreneurs.

So far, MTN Foundation has successfully trained over 3,000 young entrepreneurs across 10 states in Nigeria, in ICT and business skills. Continuing in the same tradition, MTN Foundation has commenced the call-for entries for the fifth phase of its ICT and business skills training and is set to train young entrepreneurs across six states in Nigeria- Kogi, Adamawa, Jigawa, Anambra, Cross River, and Lagos States.

The fifth phase of the ICT and business skills training program is focused on budding Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) owned or managed for at least two years by youths within the ages of 18 – 35 years.
