Nigeria:  Moniepoint Microfinance Bank Appoints Bayo Olujobi as New CFO

Moniepoint Microfinance Bank has announced the appointment of Bayo Olujobi as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), reinforcing the bank’s commitment to advancing financial inclusion.

Olujobi joins Moniepoint from Stanbic IBTC Bank, a member of the Standard Bank Group, where he served as CFO and as a Non-Executive Director at Stanbic IBTC Capital.

The bank highlighted that Bayo Olujobi brings extensive experience and a strong track record in financial management, encompassing financial and regulatory reporting, management accounting, compliance and capital management, budgeting, and strategic leadership.

His addition to Moniepoint’s executive team is seen as a strategic move to bolster the bank’s capabilities.

This announcement follows Moniepoint Inc.’s successful Series C funding round, where the holding company raised $110 million. This funding round aims to consolidate Moniepoint MFB’s position as a leading bank for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria.
