Petrosol appoints two members to join its leadership team

Petrosol has appointed Mr. Oko Kwei-Odai as Head, Projects & Maintenance and Mr. David Lawrence Obeng Mills as its Head, Human Resources.

The appointments which took effect from July 1, 2021 and October 4, 2021 respectively will see both join the company’s senior leadership team.

Oko is a civil engineer with about twenty years’ experience in downstream oil and gas infrastructure construction, petroleum storage facilities management and projects consultancy. His task is to raise higher the quality of Petrosol’s retail outlets infrastructure.

Prior to joining Petrosol, he was the Projects Manager for Meridian Logistics and Engineering, a firm executing a gas pipeline installation project at Atuabo and previously worked with Chase Petroleum Ghana, a Bulk Oil Distribution Company, spanning ten years in various capacities, including Projects Engineer and Terminal Manager.

Prior to joining Chase Petroleum, Oko served as the Ag. Head of the Operations & Engineering Department of Oando Ghana Ltd.

Oko holds a BSc degree in Civil Engineering, is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Member of the Ghana Institution of Engineering.

David until his appointment was Head of HR Consulting at L’AINE Services, one of the leading HR consulting firms in Ghana; and was directly responsible for delivering bespoke HR consulting solutions to a wide array of clients in both the public and private sectors.

He first joined L’AINE in 2016 and held various roles which include HR Consulting Manager and Head, Strategy and Business Support.  He is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants, Nigeria, and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management and an MBA from Anglia Ruskin University

He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Economics from University of Cape Coast.
