Ghana: First National Bank appoints Sylvia Inkoom as Executive Director

First National Bank Ghana has appointed Sylvia Inkoom as the Executive Director for Corporate and Investment Banking.

The bank’s strategic intent to attract quality talent in the financial services industry leads to the appointment of Mrs. Inkoom to expand the client’s access to a broad range of corporate and investment banking capabilities.

Sylvia Inkoom has served as the deputy managing director of UBA Ghana. She has been in the banking fraternity for a long while noted for being a professional banker and a driven leader with a wide range of experience and expertise in the banking field.

Having been in the banking sector for 18 years, she has taken up senior management roles by negotiating, arranging, and negotiating several landmark transactions across various centers.

She is currently a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management (CIMA) and the Institute of Leadership and Management-London. She also has an executive certificate in Corporate Finance from the London School of Economics and a certificate in Strategic Client Management from the Graduate School of Business, University of Cape Town. Sylvia attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Ghana Business School, where she also received her MBA in Finance.

Sylvia expressed joy for her appointment as Executive Director. ” I’m proud to be part of this strong brand, which has just been named as the world’s strongest banking brand by Brand Finance 2022,” she said.
