Ghana: CBG inaugurates new laboratory in Larteh

Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG) has commissioned a cutting-edge laboratory at the Larteh Health Center in the Eastern Region, underscoring the Bank’s dedication to Corporate Social Responsibility, particularly in the areas of community development, healthcare, and education.

Leading the initiative was CBG’s Managing Director, Mr. Daniel Wilson Addo, who was joined by the Deputy Managing Director of Corporate Resources, Madam Nana Ama Poku, and Divisional Directors, including Madam Esi Mmirba Wilson (People & Transformation), Mr. Gerald Quartey (Credit), and Mr. Patrick Boadi (Internal Audit).

Before the official unveiling of the facility, the CBG delegation paid a courtesy visit to Osabarima Nana Asiedu Okoo Ababio III, the Benkumhene of the Akuapim Traditional Area, where they were warmly welcomed by the Chief and the residents of Larteh.

The inauguration event, attended by the Chief, his council, and the Deputy Director of Nursing and Midwifery Services for Akuapim North, Madam Regina Akweley Klutse, marked the official transfer of the laboratory to the Larteh community.

On behalf of the community, Osabarima Nana Asiedu Okoo Ababio III, along with his sub-chiefs and queenmothers, graciously accepted the newly commissioned laboratory.

The Chief expressed deep appreciation for the essential facility, emphasizing the community’s long-standing need for such an initiative. He praised CBG for its impactful contribution and encouraged the Bank to continue supporting similar projects in the future.
