EDUBOX GLOBAL Founder Joins Plenary Sessions at 6th Annual West African Leadership Summit & Awards in Lagos

The West Africa Leadership Summit and Awards in celebration of his 6th edition was recently held in Lagos, which has in attendance Nigerian Top Leaders and thought-provoking speakers sitting at the event over the weekend.

According to the organizers of the event in a statement; “this year has recorded also a remarkable feat as we had several speakers and business owners from across the globe, where they discussed and spoke about topics which are of great impact and deliberate on possible solutions so as to have a better-growing economy and governance in the country.

The WALSummit is a great platform to discuss leadership and technology advancement and how it is of compelling need for a growing economy and businesses, discourse solutions to the challenges, and possible ways of creating relief for Africans.

The Theme of the event; “Sustaining Democracy in West Africa; The Role of African Youth, has a great panel session with brilliant ideas shared and discussed right from your engagement and Political Participation, to Technology, social media, and Democracy.

Speaking at the second plenary session, the CEO of EDUBOX GLOBAL, Amb. Tosin Sanusi, a visionary leader, innovative entrepreneur, and strategic business leader shared his insight on how impactful the use of social media is for business and brands, how it is a force to reckon with, how it has leverage growth and success rate of so many businesses and individuals and even the government.

Ambassador Tosin reiterated; On the intervention of the government, he made a scenario of whence he requested the LIST of outstanding WAEC students as of a year and how the database then through the voice of social media, created a facelift and government intervention which led to a great number of positive results from the students and impacted a great number of them to pass religiously.

Other panelists shared knowledge on the role of social media in shaping political discourse, ways of combating disinformation, and leveraging technology for better transparent and accessible elections.

The event came to a wrap as awards were given to nominated winners for the night and they were lauded for their contributed efforts and feats in various industries that they represent and were recognized for their knowledge and contribution in various spheres.

Her Excellency HRH. Amb Dr. Yeye Lara Fashola amongst other featured dignitaries was lauded and recognized for excellence and contribution at the event.
