Ghana: Vivo Energy empowers female employees with the ShePower Programme

Vivo Energy Ghana, the Shell licensee, has hosted its first-ever ShePower training session at its head office in Accra.

Aimed at the company’s female employees, the event was themed “The Power of Positive Self-Talk: Cultivating Confidence and Resilience.”

The ShePower training program reflects Vivo Energy Ghana’s dedication to empowering its female workforce by equipping them with the skills and confidence necessary to thrive both professionally and personally.

This program is designed to help Vivo Energy Ghana cultivate a supportive and inclusive workplace where every individual has the opportunity to flourish.

Addressing the audience under the theme for the training, Mrs. Rita Krampah, a seasoned corporate trainer, highlighted the importance of building self-confidence through positive self-talk. She introduced various affirmative phrases and strategies that can inspire individuals, fostering steady growth in both their confidence and capabilities.

Sharing her personal journey with positive self-talk, Mrs. Krampah remarked, “My crucible transformed me. It can transform you too, if you harness the opportunities it offers to build confidence in yourself. Don’t internalize negative perceptions.”

She further detailed nine methods to recognize and address negative thought patterns, which often affect female employees both in the workplace and at home.

In his remarks, the Managing Director of Vivo Energy Ghana, Mr. Jean-Michel Arlandis, encouraged the female participants to confidently embrace their potential and overcome challenges, reassuring them of the company’s unwavering support.
