Yango Group opens Regional HQ in Abidjan to drive African expansion

UAE-based tech giant Yango Group has launched a new regional office in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, to serve as its continental headquarters and spearhead expansion across Africa.

The strategic hub will oversee operations in key markets where Yango offers digital services, including ride-hailing, food delivery, e-commerce, digital payments, and navigation through its Super App.

CEO Daniil Shuleyko emphasized Abidjan’s pivotal role in the company’s African strategy, stating, “Africa is where our journey began. This new regional office in Abidjan marks a new chapter, building digital ecosystems that empower countries using global technologies rooted in local realities.”

Since entering Ivory Coast in 2018, Yango has grown to operate in 16 African nations, employing 200 staff, with plans to further expand its tailored digital platforms.

The company also announced the expansion of its Yango Fellowship program to a pan-African level, aiming to equip hundreds of thousands of young Africans with future-focused digital skills.
