Paystack unveils new support package for Nigerian SMEs

Paystack, one of Africa’s leading financial technology companies, has unveiled a new initiative aimed at helping Nigerian small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) access essential tools, partnerships, and funding opportunities to accelerate growth.

The initiative, known as the Paystack Small Business Programme, is designed to support entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey—from launching and managing operations to scaling their businesses. The programme debuts with the introduction of the Paystack Small Business Bundle, which offers eligible merchants access to discounts worth up to ₦4 million on a range of business services and digital tools.

According to Paystack, the programme seeks to address some of the day-to-day challenges faced by Nigerian SMEs, which remain a critical pillar of the country’s economy. Many small businesses continue to grapple with issues such as record-keeping, customer acquisition, logistics, communication, and access to affordable software solutions.

Through the Small Business Bundle, participating businesses will benefit from offers provided by a network of strategic partners operating across commerce, accounting, design, logistics, workspace solutions, and customer engagement.

Some of the partners participating in the initiative include Bumpa, Ijeworks, Wiicreate, Flowcart, Simplebks, Africaworks, Kindlybook, FezDelivery, Gamp, PressOne, Mercurie, Shuttlers, Canva, and Paystack itself.

The company said the programme has been developed to provide practical support that enables entrepreneurs to streamline operations while positioning their businesses for long-term growth.

Paystack plans to extend the Small Business Bundle to 2,000 Nigerian SMEs in the initial phase, with additional partner benefits and support services expected to be introduced over time.

The payments technology company noted that the broader Paystack Small Business Programme will feature multiple initiatives beyond the current bundle, reflecting its commitment to empowering entrepreneurs and strengthening Nigeria’s growing digital economy.

Small and medium-sized enterprises account for a significant portion of economic activity in Nigeria, contributing to employment generation and innovation. By lowering operational costs and improving access to business tools, Paystack aims to equip local entrepreneurs with resources that can help them compete more effectively and expand sustainably.

The latest initiative reinforces Paystack’s role in supporting the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and promoting digital transformation among Nigerian businesses.
